Richmondshire Raiders match report vs Bedale

Our final match of the season saw us finally playing a game at the club. Bedale won the toss and elected to bat.

Tight bowling from Will P and Max restricted Bedale’s first pairing to 213-1, helped by Max getting a wicket in the first over. Bedale’s second pair only scored 8 runs during the next four overs thanks to Rebecca and Zac conceding no wides or no balls. Will P, Isaac and Alice all added to the wicket total during the third pair’s innings. During the final pair’s innings another wicket fell (thanks to Isaac) and Bedale’s final total was 250-5, net 225.

Max and Will P opened the batting, putting on 32 runs without loss. Archie and Rebecca added 21 more runs to the total, unfortunately losing one wicket. Zac and Alice didn’t lose a wicket but did add 10 runs to the total. Then the fireworks started! Isaac and Will R came to the crease and added 32 more runs for the loss of one wicket-Isaac top scoring with 29. 

Richmondshire ended on 295-2, net 285-winning by 60 runs.
