Raiders win by 28 runs

Max won the toss and decided to put Middleham in to bat. Will Roberts getting us off to a perfect start with a wicket first ball of the match against his old team mates. The good bowling continued with Archie getting a wicket in his first over too. When the first batting pair had finished their overs we had taken 3 wickets-2 for Will R, 1 for Archie. We mixed up the middle order bowling and continued to bowl well with Raam taking a wicket. Special mention must go to James Madden for listening to advice from Mr P with regards to his accuracy resulting in a much improved second over. The last batting pair only scored 7 runs off their 4 overs due to excellent bowling and fielding, with Will R again taking another wicket. Middleham finishing on 252-5, net 227.

In reply, Raiders started well with the first pair of Max and Will P putting on 27 runs without losing a wicket. Raam and James continued the good batting only losing 2 wickets in their 4 overs, taking the score to 240-2. Archie and Zac followed, both scoring boundaries and took the score to 255-4. The last pair of Isaac and Will R seeing out the match without losing any further wickets taking our final score to 275-4, net 255.
