"Cricket Force" Saturday 6th April

With the first adult match, a warm-up game, due to be played on 13th April, it is "Cricket Force" day on Saturday 6th April, when volunteers are needed to assist with getting the ground and practice nets ready for use.

No specialist skills are needed, those who attend are asked to come along in gardening type clothing. Bringing a stiff broom and spade or shovel will be useful.

Examples of jobs that will need doing include litter picking, removing leaves from the nets, removing moss from the nets, weeding, clearing the scorebox and kit cupboard and moving equipment from where it is stored over the winter to where it is needed.

The work will start from about 9.00 on Saturday morning.
