CricketForce

We would like to thank everyone who recently helped us carry our essential work at Hurgill Road, as part of NatWest CricketForce.

This is a nationwide initiative designed to bring clubs and local communities closer together, and ensure grounds and facilities are ready for the new season.

The Club received a small amount of funding to carry out work, which included making repairs to the nets, cleaning the changing rooms, painting the sight-screens, fitting new seats, reassembling the covers and sorting out kit and equipment.

There are still some jobs to do, and the bad weather hasn't helped, but we are hoping the forecast of good weather this week, will enable us to have everything ready in time for the new season.
