Under 9 match Tuesday night, final information
The cricket field at Richmond School is quite a trek down past the all weather pitch. To minimise the distance you have to walk, park in the corner of the car park furthest from the entrance.
No special kit or equipment is required, I expect we will have to use plastic bats which I will have with me.
The pavilion has an electric water boiler for brewing up and there is a cricket club plastic crate containing squash and teabags, so it would be good if someone can volunteer themselves to use these facilities.
There is a balcony but it is a long way from the pitch, bringing a lightweight camping chair would not be a bad idea.
There will be considerable rotation of the team, this is not serious competitive cricket, so please do not be concerned if you or your child are not selected for the next game.The baking of fine home made cakes and parental abilities to score or umpire may influence selection.
