Richmond U13's Get Back To Winning Ways
Richmond U13 went to Barnard Castle in their latest league outing and came away with a win.
Bowling first for the first time this league campaign the team bowled much tidier this time and restricted Barnard Castle to 90 for 8 off their 20 overs. Louis Peacock was the pick of the bowlers with 3-13 off his 4 overs against a number of his school mates. Jordan Forbes and Sam Potter got two wickets each.
Richmond got off to a steady start, but once into their stride Tom Dowson and James Kelly played some great shots; both retiring on 30. After that it was left to Tom Ward and Jordan Forbes to see the side home, Tom finishing on 10 not out and Richmond reaching their target with 3 overs to spare.
A good win against an improving Barnard Castle in a game played in excellent spirit.
