Indoor League details

For those that were unable to pick up an entry form on Friday at the presentation evening, here are the details and link to entry form:

Indoor League Entry Form

Closing date for entries will be 31st October, late entries may be available as reserves/subs.

Matches will be played on Friday evenings in Richmond School Sports Hall, Darlington Road, Richmond, each match is expected to last an hour, starting at either 6.30 or 7.30.

It is planned to start the competitions on Friday 7^th November and finish Friday 12^th December.

There will be a competition for older juniors and a competition for younger juniors. Players from year 8 downward may play in the competition for younger players, players may play in both competitions if there is space, this may involve playing two matches in one night.

Matches are six players a side, maximum ten overs per innings.

Five bowlers each bowl a maximum of two overs; bowlers must be able to bowl overarm.

The wicketkeeper does not bowl.

All six batters must be dismissed before an innings is completed.

Matches will be played with an Incrediball safety cricket ball, batters and wicketkeepers will need to wear pads, gloves and helmet.

Match fees of £2 per player per week will be collected.

Each team will need a Team Manager, whose responsibilities are to make sure their team’s players knows when they are to play and to stay at the school for the duration of the match.
