Under 12's V Maltby CC Away - Match Report
Richmond U12's played their second match of the season away to Maltby CC, Maltby won the toss and put Richmond into bat first.
Richmond got off to a steady start but picked up the pace a bit towards the middle, top scorers Harvey Websdale and Kyle Galloway both scoring 15, we finished the innings on 296 but with the loss of 7 wickets giving us a net score of 240 runs.
Jonny Carr opened the bowling and took a wicket with his first ball, this seemed to set the tone, with a total of 10 wickets taken and only 42 runs scored by the opposition, Kyle Galloway took 3 wickets, Johnny Carlton took 2 and Tom Spensely, Toby, Thomas Kavanagh and George all took a wicket each and Harvey wicket kept well and the fielding tight to ensure we limited the extras, he made two catches and did a great take to ensure a run out. Maltby finished with a net score of 183 giving Richmond a good win.
