Match Report NYACC U13 fixture v Barnard Castle
Unfortunately the mist turning to a heavy shower meant we couldn't complete the match.
Richmondshire batted first, getting an excellent score of 159 for 4, Sam and Toby passing 30, Matthew getting 23 and George 20, we still had plenty of good batters waiting their turn when the 20 overs were up. It did take Barney some time to bowl their overs, not helped by the time spent drying the ball and retrieving it from beyond the boundary.
Sam opened the bowling in the best possible way, hitting the middle stump with the first ball, then it started raining, with the combination of wet and bad light it wasn't going to be possible to get in the remaining overs to complete the match, so we had to stop.
