The match finished up with a 5 run win for Richmondshire, in very poor light, a run out off the last ball securing the victory.

Richmondshire batted first, getting the better of the batting conditions, but gave back a number of the runs they scored with silly run outs and airborne shots providing catching opportunities. Dan Winter slogged 32 runs whilst being out twice, Sam Winter, Owen Kelly and Joe Shields all managed double figures as Richmondshire finished on 82-8, 242 net.

Rockliffe started slowly, most of their runs being scored by their last pair, Robin Dell must have been using night vision glasses as he scored 23 not out. After 5 balls of the last over, it looked like Richmondshire had won, but the"last ball" was bowled 4 times, with 2 wides and 1 no ball being signalled. Some mad running and fielding took Rockliffe level, but an attempt to take the extra run needed to win resulted in a run out and a five run victory, with Rockliffe scoring 87-10, 237 net.
