SPL Friday 19/8/11 Superkings vs Warriors and 15/15 finals on 28/8/11
This match will be played this evening 6pm as planned, the weather forecast looks good, Michael Gauntlett umpire will open up the clubhouse and get the game underway.
I'll try to get away from work asap but may be a little late. I'd appreciate it if the parents of the children could help to organise the teams, refreshments and provide another umpire. In previous weeks if there's been a discrepancy in numbers we've had to mix the teams.
Training is in Richmond for the rest of the <9s as usual.
Re the <9s Kwik cricket, to be played at the 15/15 finals at Richmond on Sunday 28th August: because of the school holidays and the cancellation of the last 2 SPL fixtures it would seem fairer to try and put 2 teams together from all of the SPL teams. Please could the families of any child who is available and keen to play before 1000 spectators in this event contact me on 07790290049. I'll arrange the teams on a first come first served basis.
It is envisaged that the children will play a demonstration kwik cricket match for 15-20minutes at about 1pm and 4pm.
