ABF U11 Festival Sunday 12 June

Please come along and support Richmondshire's youngsters in this Sunday's festival, and help us raise as much money as we can for ABF The Soldiers' Charity. 

There'll be lots for kids of all ages to enjoy including two bouncy castles, face-painting (mid-afternoon onwards), a coconut shy, single stump challenge, speed gun challenge, Kubb (just Google it) - and of course the cricket itself.

We'll be running a barbecue selling cheeseburgers and hotdogs, a sweet stall and a Barrie's Ice Cream van will be on-site - let's hope it's ice cream weather on the day!

We will be holding a raffle and if you could donate a raffle prize of any kind, please bring it along to the club in the next few days, or on the morning of the festival itself: thank you!

The teams competing this year are:

Richmondshire CC: three boys teams and one girls team

Darlington CC: two boys teams

Barnard Castle CC: one boys team

Scorton CC: one boys team

Play will start at 10AM and we ask all teams to be there shortly after 9AM.

The day's events and action will be captured by Dave Yates Photography and prints will be available for purchase on the day: if you do NOT wish to have your child photographed, please let us know and we will respect that wish.

We will be selling a Festival booklet on the day for a couple of pounds: this will be printed on Saturday, so it's not too late to advertise in - or sponsor the production of - the booklet: all money received will go to the ABF as we will be producing the booklet ourselves.

To advertise or support the printing, just send me an e-mail with your advert or name and I will include in the booklet. Simply bring or send cash or a cheque (made payable to ABF The Soldiers Charity) to the club, marked for my attention.
