U13 Match Report

The Under 13s had a good win today against Middleham. Middleham batted first and were all out for seventy-odd with 3 balls remaining, there were three run outs, the best being a direct hit from the fine leg boundary by Joe Wilson, which took a lump out of the middle stump. Angus Barlow bowled some testing balls on his way to three wickets. Richmondshire knocked off the runs for the loss of only 1 wicket, Sam Thompson striking several very firmly hit fours on his way to 33 not out. Adam Langhorne scored a more Boycott-like 18 not out, the Under 12s will be hoping he bats like this when he plays against them for Bedale U12s in the cup semi final.
