Under-11 Raiders Match Report vs North Stainley

Raiders win by 64 runs!

Max won the toss and elected to bowl. Wickets fell steadily due to a good team bowling effort, everyone adapting well to the 17 yard pitch.

Will R, Zac, Rebecca, Will P and Max all took one wicket each as well as a stunning one-handed caught behind by Isaac. In all a very good fielding performance rounded off with a direct hit run out by Will R. 

North Stainley finished on 259-7, net 224.

Richmond batted extremely well, everyone contributing to the final score of 303-3, net 288. 

Max (21) and Isaac (20) both scoring four 4’s in their innings.

A great team effort for their first outing; one thing to work on is over eager running between the wickets which resulted in two run outs.

The Wensleydale Heifer Player of the Match was Issac Bottomley for his excellent wicket keeping, stunning catch and top batting contribution of 20 runs.
