Richmondshire under-15s vs Barnard Castle match report

After losing the toss and been asked to field Richmondshire got off to a good start by taking 2 wickets for just 9 runs, then a 56 run partnership saw Barney get back into the game then with a steady loss of wickets and some good bowling from Harris McFarlane 4-0-12-2.

Barnard Castle were pegged back to 113-8 from there 20 overs

Richmondshire got off to a good start with an opening stand of 40 before Jonny was out by a very good catch for 17 and Alex followed him in the same over to a run out for 22.

Richmondshire were quickly on 45-4, before a 49-run partnership from Harris and Alex Nimmo gave then some hope. Harris was out in the last over for 26 and Richmondshiee finished 17 runs short of their target.

The Andy Percival Glazing and Windows man of the match is Harris McFarlane.
