Richmondshire vs Newton Aycliffe U15s cup game

After winning the first toss of the season Jonny decided to Bat first on a lovely sunny night.

Richmondshire got off to a excellent start with a 113 first wicket stand before Jonny had to retire on 52, with opening partner Alex Percival going on to make 40 not out. A quick fire 9 from Jake and 42 extras got Richmond to 147 for 1 off 20 overs.

Knowing their normal good bowling and fielding would win the game. Richmondshire got off to a good start. Then the spin twins of Gabriel and Joe tied the batsman down, Richmondshire kept the pressure on using 9 bowlers with wickets for Jake Percival, 2 for Cameron Clarke and 3 for Kai York.

Newton Aycliffe finished on 86 for 6
