Norton U11s 271 for 3 (256 net) v Richmondshire U11s 322 for 1 (317 net)
Richmondshire win by 61 runs
Match Report by Isaac Bottomley

To open the bowling was the player of all players Eddie taking a great 1st over! Following was Coxy taking an also amazing over - almost a maiden - only giving two runs away with an unlucky wide. Next, came our 1st under 9 player Raam, only allowing the opposition three runs. Lorcan was next with some excellent bowling but still no wickets were falling. Next came 'Big T' Bromirskyj continuing the strong bowling but still Norton were not letting any wickets fall. Next up to the bowling station was Archie MacClelland (another of our under 9's) with an outstanding performance with them only hitting 1 off both of his overs on his debut. After that amazing performance was captain for the morning Isaac taking the first wicket (top of middle stump) with a maiden as well only hitting two runs off him in total. Now was Max's turn to follow suit taking a wicket now, and last but not least Andrew stepped up with a wicket to end their innings. We had limited them to 256 net.

To open the batting were Jack and James with Jack getting 22 and Coxy getting 7 to open us up with a total of 29. Then it was Tom and Eddie's turn. Norton unfortunately took their one and only wicket during the second pair's overs. The 2 under 9s paired up together batting; Raam getting 6 and Archie scoring 1, for his first under 11 game. Andrew and Lorcan went in to bat; Andrew coming out with 22 and Lorcan scoring 6 totalling 28 for the pair. The last pair Max and Isaac were up. Max hit 15 and Isaac scored 10. Final scores Norton 271 for 3 totalling 256, Richmond 322 for 1 totalling 317 meaning a win by a huge 61 runs. Well done everyone!
