Under-13 match report vs Wolviston

After losing the toss Richmondshire where put into bat. With some very good bowling Richmondshire where in trouble at 24 for 4 then going to 42 for 6 it wasn't looking good.

Then up stepped Zak Cleminson and Tom Van Niekirk to put on a 41 run partnership before Tom was out for 12, Zak carrying his bat to finish on 17 not out. Richmondshire finished on 91 for 7.

Knowing we needed to play well in the field, Richmondshire came out with fire in there eyes. The opening pair bowling a fast line and length. Alex Nimmo finishing on 3-0-8-2 including sending one of there openers back injured. First change Cameron Clarke bowling a fantastic line finished with figures of 3-1-5-2. With the lads backing each other the noise in the field increased putting pressure on the batting team and all the Richmondshire bowlers bowling well. It came down to the last over needing 5 to win. Up stepped Kai York to take the pressure on to bowl a maiden over.  Richmondshire winning by 4 runs.

Well done to everyone. A great team performance to be proud of.
