U13's cricket brightens the gloom at Thirsk!

Hi all, despite a cold and miserable evening at Thirsk, our U13's produced a game to remember.

Bowling first, we restricted Thirsk to 78-6, with two wickets apiece for Andrew Ralph and Tom Van Niekirk, one for Max Percival and an excellent run-out from Zak Cleminson, on his first outing of the season.

After a steady start against tight bowling, Zak hit the accelerator, almost taking Richmond to victory with a fine 30, unfortunately being forced to retire at a crucial moment at the death. Alex Pinkney provided good support with 11 not out, leaving Richmond cruelly 4 runs short of our target.

A really good work-out again for all! Particularly for four of our very talented U11 players making their first appearances. Thanks to all for getting to Thirsk on a school/work night, and to David Ralph for scoring.
