CAMRA Beer Festival 12/13/14 October
The 17th
CAMRA Richmond Ale Festival is coming our way at the Cricket Club very
soon! With a choice of more than 30
delicious cask beers and real ciders, plus some great free entertainment, we’re
looking forward to a great weekend.
For members of Richmondshire Cricket Club, there is a
special Members’ preview session on
Thursday 12th October. This
will not be open to the general public but admission is free and you’re welcome
to bring a guest or two. The real ale
and cider bar is open 7pm – 11pm and CAMRA members are also invited. You will also be amongst the first to hear
the result of the beer and cider judging taking place on the night.
On Friday 13th
October, the bar will be open to the public from 5pm – 11pm, with musical
entertainment from Cumbrian three-piece Latest Flames, playing 60s, 70s and 80s music including
some folk and country, from around 8.30pm.
Saturday 14th October will see the festival
open all afternoon and evening, from 12 noon until 11pm. And there’s a treat in store for fans of The Spirit Levellers, who will bring the songs and energy of The
Levellers to delighted you from 8.30pm.
In addition, there will
be tombola, games and other things going on, all in convivial atmosphere. The Cricket Club bar will be open, too, for
any other drinks you might enjoy.(This post is of course for those aged 18 and over)
