Practice nets are ready for use
All four lanes are ready for use, with stumps in place and significant holes in the netting repaired.
If using a hard ball in the nets, please remember juniors must wear a helmet for both keeping and batting.
As the matting is slow to dry, it is highly advisable not to use a nice new bat or ball as they will pick up moisture from the matting and become damaged.
There is a rubbish bin tied to the advertising hoardings, rubbish is to be put in the bin not left in the nets.
If anything gets stuck on the top of the nets, do not climb up the nets to try and get it down. Tip: there is a long metal bar that fixes across the entrance to the mobile net, this can be useful for poking from below.
