Unlucky 13 for Richmond U15's at Northallerton

An excellent evening of cricket at Northallerton in the Hambleton league saw Richmond U15's edged out by an unlucky 13 runs.

A really good performance in the field, very well led by captain Harvey Websdale, saw Northallerton restricted to 106. Seven bowlers were used, all contributing well, and it was good to see the three U13's in the team, Dan, Ben and Sam all get four good overs. Standout figures from Dan Baines with 4-15, the others shared around.

After a promising start from Jack Smith and Harvey who both made 21, the loss of quick wickets slowed us down, and despite a useful 15 from Cameron Spence we fell 13 short on 93-6. But it was good to see a range of people spend some good time at the crease.

Big thanks to Andrew Baines and John Bewell for helping with scoring and umpiring

Adrian
