Wolviston U11 Vs Richmond U11
The U11’s lost their first league match by 13 runs in another low
scoring game. The result 235 to 222 was somewhat unfortunate, as some accurate
bowling only resulted in 2 wickets being taken with our 9 man team including 3
new players !. This was followed by a batting performance which resulted in the
loss of 9 wickets which sealed our fate. A special mention for Will Arnold who
made his debut, took a fine catch at midwicket, and bowled 3 overs for the loss
of only 5 runs.
Next league games are Darlington away on Sunday 5th June,
followed by Newton Aycliffe at home on 12th June, team sheets for
both games will be posted on the blog by Wednesday.
