A very close match, we scored 96 for 2 (286 net) and Northallerton 95 for 2 (285 net)
Every batter scored runs, the bowling of both teams was a bit variable in its direction, so extras made a fair contribution to the totals. I feel a shorter pitch would help everyone so might shorten it in future matches, though as I don't have a copy of the rules, I don't know how long it should be.
He probably didn't realise it at the time, but the caught and bowled by Max Dale near the end of the Northallerton innings was what turned the match our way.
