U15's shine vs Masham
The U15's played in the Hambleton League vs Masham yesterday evening. Batting first, George Spink hit some awesome shots in his 52 retired, and was well supported by Jordan Forbes with 23. Tom Spensley added a quick 29 retired. It was also good to see Griff Bewell and others spend some good time at the crease and hike the score up further.
With 145 to defend, captain Tom was able to use a wide range of bowlers as Masham were restricted to 68 all out. There was good bowling throughout and the wickets were spread, but special mention to Cameron Spence who took 2 wickets in his only over, and Dan Baines, who had brilliantly symmetrical figures of 4-4. The only person disappointed was George who was promising big things for his over.
An excellent performance played in a great spirit, well done all.
