Helmets

Pasted in below is an ECB poster regarding helmets.

The main difference with the new helmets is that the grilles are tested to withstand an impact at 80 mph (I think) and the gap between grille and peak is not adjustable. Helmets to the older standard are not banned, I have noticed many international cricketers still using helmets to the old standard. The important thing, whatever helmet you have, is that the grille is securely fitted in place and the gap between grille and helmet is small enough to prevent a ball going through.

The club has 6 Masuri helmets which are all to the latest standard, 4 youths helmets, suitable for up to U13s and 2 adult size helmets suitable for U15 and older.
