Junior Division
Team D 91 for 2 (Joseph White 28 not out, Lucas Holmes 31 not out, Raam Raj 2-19) beat Team B 49 for 5 (Toby Broderick 15, Lucas Holmes 3 for 9). Excellent batting at the top of the order took Team D to a good total which Team B would have got a lot closer to if they had run better between the wickets, though they were perhaps a bit on the back foot after Mitchell Johnson bowl-a-like Lucas Holmes took two wickets in his first over.
Senior Division
Team B 169 for 5 (Dan Baines 52 not out, Sam Potter 35 not out, Charlie Stephenson 26 not out, Harry Mawer 1 for 2) beat Team D 134 for 7 (Tom Ward 46, James Newson 22, Henry Bushell 17 not out, Olly Senior 2 for 8, George McCowie 2 for 24). Team D batted first, though all batters made a contribution the strong bowling attack kept their scoring rate down. Team B's response started badly with some kamikaze running seeing Jonny Baines run out but fortunately his elder brother compensated with some excellent striking, well supported by Sam and Charlie, as the target was passed with an over to spare. Exuberant fielding then resulted in 28 runs being taken off the last over, with overthrows contributing heavily.
