2015 Season Junior Cricket Rule Changes UPDATED 25 Nov

The following significant rules have been voted in at the NYACC and NYSD league AGMs:

U11 matches will be played Sunday mornings 

U11 matches will be minus 5 runs for a wicket lost not 8 runs

U11 and U12 match format will move from 8 to 10 a side 

U13 matches will be played midweek evenings, the evening will not be fixed but expect most teams will play Wednesdays

 

U13 cup will be 10 a side pairs, U13 league will be 11 a side 20-20 format, as 2014 season

 

No changes to the U15 format, still Sunday mornings.

U17 matches will requires batters to retire on passing 50 runs.

Pre-registered U18 players will be allowed to play U17 matches, up to 3 U18 players per match. The league are unlikely to allow first team regular U18 players to be pre-registered !
