Stockton slayed

No, it's OK, nobody has killed Tom the U17 Manager, our U15s have instead beaten Stockton with some good cricket.

Stockton elected to bat first; a superb catch from Andy Gordon brought an early wicket for Sam. Ted came on and bowled a very tidy spell in the middle of the innings which kept the brakes on, he picked up two wickets and H one. Only some late hitting took their total to 110 for 5, with only 5 extras.

We opened with Sam and Joe, who stayed together until the score was forty-odd when Sam was caught. Finn came in at no.3 and continued his recent excellent batting form with 26 not out, while Joe moved to his fourth fifty of the U15 season before retiring and leaving Toby to hit the winning boundary in the nineteenth over.

A big improvement today was our bowling, Stockton did not display the same depth in bowling reserves that we did today; that is what decided the match.
