Match report, U15 league match v Darlington RA

At 10 to 6 it started to rain and looked like this match was going to be rained off again, but half an hour later it was a lovely sunny evening and we were playing.

RA asked us to bowl first, the ball was wet but Sam and Rosie were accurate. Rosie bowled one of the openers in her first over and Sam's third was a triple wicket maiden. After 5 overs we put the change bowlers on, but they continued to take wickets. At the 10 over mark, RA were 24 for 8. Thankfully their no.9 then scored some runs, so their final score was 48 all out.

RA's captain, without his beard for this match, bowled off an impressively long run but pitched the ball too short. Two wickets fell at the other end as we knocked off the runs in the ninth over, Georgie finished 12 not out, Toby 15 not out. This was actually our first league win, though we did win four cup matches.
