U13's v Sedgefield - Match Report

Richmond won the toss and decided to bowl. Our bowling today was excellent, only giving away a few extras and taking 7 wickets, Toby Newton 2 including an excellent caught and bowled, 2 from James Kelly, 1 from Johnny Carlton in a wicket maiden over and 2 from Mark walker both from wicket maidens. We took 4 of the wickets from excellent catches, James Kelly, Toby Newton and Jack Smith 2, credit also to Johnny Carr who bowled 3 overs, 2 maidens and only 1 from the other! Sedgefield finished on 181. Our batting was also excellent today. Johnny Carlton 8-0, Toby Newton 10-0, Jack nicholls 5-0' Jack smith 8-1, Johnny Carr 10-2, Mark Walker 20-0, George Spink 25-1, Harvey Websdale 7-0, Gary walker 12-0 and James Kelly 14-0. We finished on 314 winning by 133 runs. Another great performance although I am sure we will face tougher opposition throughout the season.
