Another Victory for the U12's away against Saltburn

Richmond won the toss again and put Saltburn in to bat, the wickets were slow to fall with Jack Smith taking the first in the 7th over, no further wickets fell until the final over with Johnny Carlton clean bowling 2, this however did not reflect the excellent bowling performance with just 15 extras being given and Saltburn only managed 27 runs from the bat, this meant they finished on a net 218.

Richmond went into bat feeling confident, Toby Newton (9-1) and Johnny Carlton (19-0) opened scoring 28 with the loss of 1 wicket a run out for Toby, Eddie L (4-2) and Thomas Kavanagh (13-0) came next scoring 17 for 2 wickets, then followed Harvey (17-0) and Jack (3-0) who scored 20, last up were George (20-0) and Jonny Carr (13-0) scoring a commendable 33 between them, with extras added on Richmond ended on 303 which gave us the victory by 85 runs.

An excellent win with great play from all, thank you all for travelling tonight.

This end the U12's league campaign and we are currently top, however Marton will win the league if they defeat their final opponents.

We are still awaiting a date for the cup semi final.
