Marske U12's v Richmond U12's - Match Report
Richmond won the toss and put Marske into bat, we opened the bowling well taking two wickets from the first pair, both coming from Nathan including a run out by Harvey in the 3rd Over. We managed to keep there score down in the following overs and a wicket fell in the last over as a result Marske finished on 238 which included 18 extras.
Richmond went into bat knowing that kepping our wicket plus hitting a few runs would be enough to secure the victory, Johnny Carlton and Toby opened with a 20 partnership with the loss of a wicket, Jack and Harvey came in next scoring 8 between them with the loss of 1 wicket, George and Nathan ran well together and scored 19 not out, at this point the victory seemed certain, however Matthew Price wasn't going to let it rest there, he an Kyle Galloway went in and scored an astonishing 57 runs between them with 47 of them being hit by Matthew, a truly outstanding performance!
