Junior Cricket after Christmas - Information

In the first half of term, we plan to put on nets at SFX school on Friday nights, for those who are at an age/ability level suitable for hard ball cricket, any junior has played regularly in NYACC league matches of any age group is suitable. In the second half of term, this will extend to full training sessions for a wider age and ability range.

Of interest to all, including parents of limited cricketing ability (like me), should be the plans for a 24 hour cricket-a-thon which is intended to be run over the weekend of 26th/27th January. An email will shortly be coming out  to check there is enough interest to run this - if we can get nearly sixty younger juniors to play in an indoor league, there must be. This event should be a fun way of raising some money, as well as regular junior and adult players, I hope there will be an opportunity for parents to play against their children. Games will be structured/organised to suit all ages and abilities, so if Granny and Grandad want to join in, they won't be playing against the mens first team.
