Army Community Covenant Grant application SUCCESS
I'm delighted to report that the Club has been awarded a £56,000 grant towards the £75,000 project to replace the existing net practice facility and artificial match play pitch.
Before next season, the existing three bay system will be replaced with a brand new, "state of the art" four bay system, and the existing artificial matchplay pitch will be moved a few yards West to allow us to create additional grass wickets.
I'd like to thank all those who helped to secure this grant, in particular our good friends in the Army without whose support this would not have been possible.
Of course we have many days of fund raising ahead of us, but this is a wonderful early Christmas present for all at the Club and is a testament to the hard work put in by Junior and Senior players, members, parents and supporters alike.
Have a great Christmas and New Year - I look forward to seeing many of you during the upcoming 24 hour Cricathon on 26th and 27th January!
