Tesco bag pack Saturday 29 September

Richmondshire Cricket Club is running a bag pack in conjunction with ABF The Soldiers' Charity next Saturday, 29 September.
Funds raised will be shared equally between ABF The Soldiers' Charity and Richmondshire Cricket Club, with the monies raised by the Club being put towards the long overdue replacement of the outdoor practice nets at the ground, at a total projected cost of £75,000.
The replacement of the nets will only take place with the support of a £50,000 grant from the Army Community Covenant Fund, and I am delighted that the Club's close relationship with the local garrison goes from strength to strength, both on and off the field of play.
We are looking for volunteers to man the checkouts in two hour shifts: it's a very effective way of raising money, and we're fortunate to be bag packing just after Army pay day, so it should be a particularly fruitful endeavour!
We need 12 to 16 volunteers for each 2-hour shift, from 10am to 4pm: 36 to 48 volunteers in all.
Even if you can't help with the bag packing, do make your way down to Tesco next Saturday, do your shopping there and donate generously for the sake of our Junior members and ABF The Soldiers' Charity!
