Match Report, D&D U13 fixture v Aldbrough

The official result was a tie, Aldbrough scored 98 for 5, 273 net, Richmondshire scored 93 for 4, also 273 net. However, Aldbrough had seven players, we lent them a fielder, two of the four wickets we lost were to catches by our own players. The instructions not to field in catching positions were not heeded !

With the NYACC U13s playing at the same time, we fielded a team containing four members of our strong U11 squad, who all played well. Eddie Lewington bowled a wicket maiden, Jack Smith and Nathan Simpson put on 28 undefeated as second pair with Nathan scoring 16 not out, Tom Spensley scored 10.
