Match report U11 v Billingham

The under 11s recorded their second win of the week with a convincing victory over a young, inexperienced Billingham team.  Having won the toss Richmond chose to bowl and generally kept it tight throughout.  Harvey took 3 wickets and Eddie Lewington, Thomas Kavanagh and Tom Spensley all got one each.  The fielding was excellent and Billingham ended up with a net score of 189.  If there was one criticism of Richmond's display it was the amount of wides we bowled (12 in total) and this is something we need to work on at training.

When it was Richmond's turn to bat Thomas Kavanagh, on his debut, was the only player in the game to find a boundary and top scored with 12 runs although he was dismissed once.  Other notable contributions came from Tom Spensley 9 runs, Tom Dowson 9, Kyle Galloway 8 and Harvey Websdale 8.  Meaning Richmond ended up with a net score of 267 runs to record an impressive 78 run victory.

Well done to all who played, a really good team performance.
