Junior Teams, 2012 Season

We will have four “competitive” and three “social” teams playing this season.

“Competitive” Teams

These teams will generally be the strongest available team at that age group.
U17 North Yorkshire and South Durham League, plays Monday nights.
U15 North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council, plays Sunday mornings, 9.30 start, 20 overs, 11-a-side, starts 22nd April.
U13 North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council, plays Sunday mornings, 9.30 start, Cup Fixtures: 20 overs, 11-a-side; League Fixtures: 10-a-side pairs cricket, starts 22nd April.
U11 North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council, generally plays Monday nights, 8-a-side pairs cricket, starts 23rd April.

“Social” Teams

These teams will give an opportunity to play for those who are not getting a regular game in the competitive teams. In the Darlington and District League in particular, the team selection will depend upon the likely standard of the opposition.
U15 Darlington and District League, variable dates, 20 overs, 11-a-side.
U13 Darlington and District League, variable dates, 8-a-side pairs cricket.
U12 North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council, generally plays Tuesday nights, 8-a-side pairs cricket, school term-time only, starts 1st May.
