Raby won the toss electing to field first, first pair Ted and Alex Rowe scored 16 Ted getting a four, we struggled with scoring runs in the middle pairings of Alex Hartley with Ben and Tim with Adam ,between them scoring 8runs getting 10 extras but they were out three times losing 15runs bringing the total back down to 219. Our final pair James and Dom saved face, James hitting the boundary three times and Dom once, James got 15runs and 9 extras, Dom 7 runs but lost a wicket.
In the second Innings, Tim enjoyed organizing the field and was a very vocal captain encouraging the team. Lucy Hartley took the Raby boys by surprise, they were clearly astonished to be bowled out by a girl. Ben Young had lots of running around to do on the boundary as Raby's last pair batted strongly, Tim took a catch. Man of the match James Probert. Thanks to Adam and Ted and their dads for enabling this match to take place.
