U15s progress to Samuel Webster cup semi-final
The U15's are through to Samuel Webster cup semi final after a strong team
performance away against Hutton Rugby.
Played under a brooding sky and light rain, a reduced 15 overs was agreed.
The wicket was very wet and cut up very quickly, but Richmondshire made a very competitive 72 with good contributions from Dan Walker (31 not out) , Dan Osborne (15 not out) & Adam Cocks (9).
The lads followed a good batting performance with some very tight and accurate bowling from Adam Cocks (3 for 7), Dan Walker (2 for 8) & Joss Mercer (1 for 7), with John Southcott taking 2 catches in Hutton Rudby's reply of 49 all out.
